Witan Jardine is awarded with a ‘Two Star Status’ within Best Companies Accreditation 2007.
Best Companies Accreditation recognises organisational excellence in the area of workplace engagement. The accreditation follows a ‘Michelin style’ star system of one star being first class, two stars being outstanding, rising to three stars being extraordinary. The scheme acknowledges and rewards organisations that provide excellent workplaces, excellent workplace practices, and great leadership as defined by its own employees.
In 2007, 434 organisations registered to go for ‘Star Status’, and since September over 100,000 employees from these organisations have been surveyed.
In total 273 oranisations achieved ‘Star Status’, with only 107 organisations in the UK recognised with Two Star Status. Witan Jardine was delighted to be one of those accredited with Two Star Status.
The Best Companies identify workplace performance and best practice according to 8 key factors:
Leadership; My Manager; Personal Growth; Wellbeing; My Team; Giving Something Back; My Company; Fair Deal.
These factors are particularly significant as they are defined through the results from the survey process, and therefore by employees themselves, as critical factors in Workplace Engagement.
