This West End estate dates back to the 16th century and covers 110 acres of land owned within Marylebone, made up of a cosmopolitan blend of shops, restaurants, hotels, garden squares and premium properties.

They have an opportunity for a talented, qualified Accountant to join the team as Fund Accountant, reporting to the Finance Director and partnering with the rest of the finance and property team.

You will be responsible for accounting for their property portfolio, ensuring sales ledger control and the integrity of the general ledger and all management information. You will also monitor the refurbishment and development project costs as well as the allocation accounting for refurbishment and development costs. In addition, you will maintain the property database with new lease and other transactional details. Liaising with the auditors, fund tax, service charge and audit related responsibilities will also be part of the position.

This is a varied opportunity for an individual who is CIMA qualified, ideally with strong management accounting experience gained within property investment. You will get involved in analysis, mentoring and adding value commercially in the long term. This will suit an individual with strong attention to detail, strong systems and problem-solving skills who is constantly striving for improvement.
