This niche national law firm with a major focus on litigation offers a really refreshing change from the big corporate firms. In this Business Development Manager role you will be aligned to the firm's prestigious criminal team which is involved in business and regulatory investigations such as corporate manslaughter, white collar crime and international investigations. You will be responsible for working with the Partners on their business plans, identifying target clients and areas for growth.

You will develop and coordinate initiatives to build relationships with target clients, generating leads for the Partners. This will involve initiating corporates, banks and professional and government bodies as well as law firms for conflict work. You will also forge links with Barristers' chambers and develop initiatives for profile raising.

You will have a proven track record of business development within professional services. Knowledge of the criminal sector is essential. Ideally you will come from another law firm or alternatively have worked within a forensics team in a major accountancy practice. Alternatively you could be an ex-criminal litigation lawyer with a track record in business development looking for a change of career.
