One of the UK's prominent publishing and media houses has an immediate requirement for an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team on a three-month contract.

As a key member of the management accounting team, you will be actively responsible for producing full monthly, quarterly and year-end management accounts for three sites. The role will also involve balance sheet and reconciliations-based work, providing variance analysis and commentary and working directly with the Financial Controller on a number of key management accounting-based projects within the department, as well as ad hoc duties.

You will be an experienced Management Accountant, ideally qualified or at finalist level of CIMA or ACCA. You will have proven experience within the media, publishing or retail sectors as commercial knowledge of preparing accounts on consumerable products is essential to this role.

You will have a strong knowledge of KPIs and be able to convey commercial finance information to non-finance directors. You will be a proactive and motivated individual with a hands-on attitude.
