An opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person to work with a medium-sized finance team of a private equity firm. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping as well as the preparation of monthly management accounts.

Ideally you will be organised, diligent, friendly, have good attention to detail and be able to work under your own initiative. You must be a part qualified Accountant with a financial services/investment management background and be experienced in producing the management accounts. Good experience of Excel and previous use of Sun and Vision would be a distinct advantage.

The role will involve maintenance of the nominal ledger, invoicing of monitoring fees, bank reconciliations and VAT. In addition you will be preparing monthly management accounts for internal review, expense analysis using Excel and Vision and hold debtors and creditors ledger responsibilities. Assistance on group reporting and assistance with the preparation of various tax returns will also form part of your role.
