This major UK law firm has gone from strength to strength and is becoming more international in focus with a particular emphasis on the emerging markets of the Middle East and the Far East. You will also enjoy working in a supportive and down to earth environment in a growing marketing team.

In this role, you will head up all business development activities for the firm's world-renowned construction, infrastructure and energy practices. You will develop practice and sector group business development plans in line with business strategy objectives and ensure that they are implemented. You will manage the budget for the groups and work with Partners on targeting initiatives and action plans, pitches and proposals, market and client research to identify new opportunities and key issues as well as manage the profile for the group and client communications. This is a really challenging role with real potential for long-term growth.

Degree educated, you will be a Business Development Manager with a proven track record within professional services (ideally a major law firm, accountancy firm or construction/engineering practice). Knowledge of the construction, infrastructure and energy sectors would be a distinct advantage.
