A global, international online media company, specialising in providing user platforms for sports, entertainment and social networking sites, immediately requires a qualified Financial Accountant for a project accounting role based in their EMEA headquarters in London.

This firm is currently restructuring their global finance function and key projects are arising from this de-centralisation. Reporting directly to the European Financial Director, you will be actively involved in assisting in month-end processes, preparing statutory accounts and working with Auditors and tax professionals to ensure deadlines are adhered to. This Financial Accountant role will also be pivotal in developing and implementing new accounting procedures and processes.

To be considered for this Financial Accountant role, you will be a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant and ideally have experience within a media or online environment. You will have strong business acumen and have a proven dedicated work ethic, as this role will be very hands-on.

Knowledge of IFRS and Sarbannes-Oxley compliance is essential for this role, previous experience of Oracle and/or Hyperion accounting software will also be highly advantageous.
