Digita celebrates after reaching award finals

Digita has announced it is celebrating reaching the finals stage of a recent competition, it has emerged.

According to reports by Accounting Web, the developer of accountancy software is happy about its recent position as a finalist at this year's Sift Media Awards, based upon the views of users.

The firm reached the latter stages of the competition in the category for Tax and Practice Software Satisfaction.

"On behalf of my colleagues at Digita, I would like to thank all of the independent practitioners who voted for us," said Jerry Rihll, managing director of Digita.

"We are the only practice suite supplier to be nominated and being a finalist will encourage us to work even harder to meet your needs in the future," he added.

The firm has also been successful at this year's LexisNexis Taxation Awards, where it was the overall winner in the category for Best Tax Software.
