A number of Brits avoid taking breaks from work, it has been claimed.
According to reports from Legal & General, 23 per cent of Britons working full-time do not ever rest periods from work, reports Online Recruitment.
Indeed, as a result, 22 per cent of those noted that their daily schedule acts as a source of stress.
"Work is very important to many people providing purpose, self-worth and fulfilment, but for some, particularly those with heavy work responsibilities, they may become absorbed in their daily routine and so do not take timeout for themselves during the day," said Dr John Delfosse, medical officer for the organisation's protection business.
The survey also found that seven per cent of employees do not take off a period of holiday from work.
