PwC UK confirms increase in turnover

The UK arm of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC UK) has confirmed an increase in turnover for the year ending 2007, it has been revealed.

According to reports from Consultant News, PwC UK has confirmed a turnover increase of six per cent for the stated period, while underlying net revenues have increased by a total of nine per cent.

"We continue to focus on making the right long-term investments to build a sustainable business to meet the current and future demands of our clients," said Kieran Poynter, chairman of PwC UK.

Taking into consideration the growth, turnover at PwC UK has now reached a total of £2.1 billion, 72 per cent of which has been generated from services not connected with auditing, the firm has claimed.

The history of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP goes back as far as 1849.
