Britons with NZ visa to get flexible working

New Zealand has introduced new flexible working legislation which could benefit Britons who are employed within the country.
The new regulations, which give certain employees the legal right to request flexible working arrangements, may be welcomed by those seeking new positions - such as marketing jobs - in New Zealand.
Ruth Dyson, minister of labour, said in a parliamentary speech: "Work-life balance is not just about delivering benefits to employees - it's also about our overall quality of life and our living standards."
She added that this benefit was found to be one of the most popular in a worker survey.
The legislation is based on similar law found in the UK and is hoped to change the attitude towards work in New Zealand, as well as add to the attraction for skilled immigrants.
Sean O'Brien, from New Zealand estate agents Bayleys Realty Group, recently said that an increasing number of British farmers were seeking new lives in the country.
