Deloitte's New Zealand firm has expanded its human capital services to meet growing demand.
Drawing on Deloitte's global knowledge, the New Zealand practice is now offering a broader range of services such as change management and culture, organisational learning and organisation structural review.
Deloitte boasts the second largest human capital team globally. Chief executive officer Jack Murray explained that the talent drain, overseas opportunities, focus on productivity and the need for better structural and strategic change management mean that local organisations increasingly want advice and assistance for their investment in human capital.
Mr Murray said; "The quality of employees can be improved by investing in them. The education, experience and abilities of an employee have a direct economic value for employers and for the economy as a whole.
"As a result, people issues by default will continually need to be better aligned and integrated into a company's overall business strategy.
"Human capital professionals are far more than just HR consultants - they are broad-based business consultants who specialise in integrating people issues with business strategy to enhance an organisation's performance, productivity and profitability."
