Skype appoints zanox to handle marketing program

The popular voice over IP provider Skype has appointed zanox to manage its affiliate marketing program, mad.co.uk has reported.

The multichannel eCommerce and affiliate marketing company will be responsible for driving more users to Skype.com.

The program will make use of a zanox solution that "automatically tracks results, handles commission payments and gives the advertiser real-time transparent access to the status of a campaign".

Michele Marzan, manager of zanox, said: "We are pleased that Skype has chosen zanox to manage its affiliate marketing program. This partnership demonstrates how our technology can be executed on a global level. Coupled with our marketing expertise we deliver a customised program that is executed on a large scale."

Berlin-based zanox operates in more than 30 countries.
