Accountants go back to school to educate youth

Accountancy professionals could soon be stepping into the classroom to help improve young people's finance skills.
Chief executive of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) Michael Izza has said the profession is well-placed to assist teachers with this task, Peterborough Today reports.
He said: "Nobody can argue with the need for young people leaving school to have a good knowledge and understanding of personal finance.
"Not only will it reduce the levels of debt and financial literacy that blight so many lives, it will also help prepare them for their future careers, especially in business."
The government recently announced that personal finance should become an important part of the national curriculum.
The ICAEW has been collaborating with the personal finance education group, piloting a programme in Coventry which sees chartered accountants going into secondary schools to work with teachers and students to improve young people's financial literacy.
