Ferrexpo appoints new CFO

Ferrexpo has announced the appointment of a new chief financial officer (CFO).
According to reports by Director of Finance Online, Ferrexpo has appointed Christopher Mawe to the role.
Mr Mawe, who is scheduled to begin at his new post on January 7th 2008, has previously held a number of different positions, including a post with Institute of the Motor Industry in the UK.
The newly appointed CFO has also held the post of finance director with Carclo, a firm specialising in plastics and "precision products".
Ferrexpo is an international organisation specialising in the export and production of iron ore pellets.
With a history of mining operations that go back to 1960, Ferrexpo is a Ukrainian company that became stock market-listed in the UK in 2007.
"At the core of our business is the Ferrexpo Poltava Mining (FPM) operation, with approximately 18 billion tonnes of iron ore resource, based on the banks of the river Dnieper in central Ukraine," said Ferrexpo.
