Accountancy firm 'launches' new recruitment drive

An accountancy firm in Scotland is currently embarking on a drive for new recruits, it has emerged.

Reports by the Scotsman have revealed that Tenon is expecting to increase employee levels by more than half over the course of next year.

Among the services offered by the Tenon group are forensic accountancy, corporate finance and taxation.

"This investment is creating exciting opportunities for ambitious tax professionals who would like to work with many of Scotland's leading entrepreneurs," said Aidan McLaughlin, head of Tenon tax in Scotland.

During 2008, the firm also expects fee income to increase at the same rate as employee levels and rise to a total of £5 million.

Operating nationwide, Tenon tailors its services to the needs of entrepreneurs and expects to increase its base of staff to approximately 45.
