Those looking to get into accountancy jobs will be able to access a new online learning facility on the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (Cipfa) website early next year.
Cipfa, which provides accountancy training in the UK, will be launching its web-based Student Learning Centre on February 1st 2008, providing both students and employers with information about accountancy jobs and how to become a member of the body.
The new portal will play its part in "ushering in a new era in learning and bringing about many benefits to students and employers", according to Cipfa.
Commenting on the system, Dr Adrian Pulham, director for education and training at Cipfa, says "the new interactive syllabus has been carefully developed with expert educational designers around precepts fundamental to the best learning delivery methods".
Cipfa's members often work in public service bodies, national audit agencies and major accountancy firms across the UK.
