The results of a recent study have found that UK-based workers have implemented a change of career direction on a number of occasions.
According to the results of a study by Lifelong Learning UK, out of every six respondents, one has changed their career direction on a total of three different occasions, reports Personnel Today.
The organisation's findings are based upon a poll of approximately 2,000 individuals.
"Changing your career can be a really positive step towards fulfilling your ambitions and aspirations on both a personal and professional level," said Carolyn Dowding, adviser for education at Lifelong Learning UK, an employer-led organisation that operates on an independent basis.
"And making a job switch can be the perfect opportunity to give something back to the community."
The poll also found that out of every ten participants in the study, seven have changed their career path a minimum of once and 65 per cent confirmed that they would expect to change their career direction from the age of 30.
