Senior professionals and managers can now use a new web-tool to better comprehend, negotiate and implement enhanced flexibility in their employment and achieve a superior work-life balance, it has emerged.
Advanced professionals with
jobs in tax or other sectors and their employers can benefit from the Work Re-tune website from Working Families.
Staff answer a number of questions on the site to help them work out how to best implement more flexibility at work.
Sarah Jackson, chief executive of Working Families, said: "This unique new resource challenges the myth that senior roles cannot be flexible."
"It helps both senior people and their employers to think afresh about how a role can be done differently."
She added that companies and employees can both benefit from successful flexible working at a senior level within a firm.
In November 2006, Working Families hosted a conference on the future of the work-life balance, focusing on the future beyond the introduction of paternity leave and the right of carers to request flexible working.
